Join Our Team as a Data Operations Engineer!

Are you ready to make a significant impact on our college's data landscape and student lives? As a Data Operations Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of enhancing data integrity and accessibility. You'll implement cutting-edge data management practices and oversee all SQL servers, ensuring our data is robust and reliable.

In this dynamic role, you'll develop and maintain innovative data interfaces that enable seamless data exchange across systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and streamline processes, empowering the college to effectively track student performance and resource allocation.

Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, aligning data strategies with the college's educational goals. By integrating data from all major enterprise applications, you'll support a data-informed culture across campus, making a real difference in how we achieve our mission.

Minimum Qualifications:   

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.[SM1] 
• At least 2-3 years of experience in data management, database administration, or a similar role, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on data accuracy and integrity. Experience in data analysis and reporting tools is preferred.
• Must have experience utilizing TSQL and administering Microsoft SQL servers.

Preferred Qualifications:   

• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience within higher education or similar organizations.
• Familiarity with compliance standards related to education data, such as FERPA, and best practices for data governance.
