As participants in the Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP), institutions gain access to cohort, course, and financial aid analysis-ready files, providing valuable insights into the student experience. These datasets can be merged with one another or with other institutional data, enabling researchers to explore the student experience in greater depth and identify students for targeted outreach. This workshop will guide you through the cohort and course analysis-ready files, demonstrating how to use them individually, and in combination, to address key questions about student success and engagement.

As a result of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Articulate the variables in the PDP Cohort and Course Analysis-Ready Files.
• Understand how to merge the PDP Cohort and Course Analysis-Ready Files with each other and other institutional datasets to construct a comprehensive student success research dataset.
• Use the PDP Cohort and Course Analysis-Ready Files to answer common research questions. 

Notes:

• Registration closes April 25 or when seating capacity is reached. Space is limited.
• You will receive the Zoom link the day before the workshop.
• The workshop will be interactive, including the use of hands-on exercises and discussion.
