Job Duties: The Data and Research Analyst is responsible for collecting data, researching, creating reports and communicating necessary institutional research studies to College departments. The Data and Research Analyst will collaborate as needed with the Title V Cooperative Grant staff and partner institution.
This position is Grant – Funded: Title V Cooperative Grant: expires 09/30/2010. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a background in statistics/mathematics, with a minimum of two years of experience in research and analysis of data, and knowledge in using statistical package for social science (SPSS) are required. Familiar with higher education reporting requirements is necessary. Also experience with use of Microsoft Office software, and must possess excellent interpersonal and computer skills. Must be able to multi-task and work with deadlines, be organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and have good judgment. Applicants need the ability to work well with others and with little supervision. Applicants shall demonstrate knowledge of SCT software, and / or Datatel, and web-based data applications.
Desirable qualifications: Master’s degree with statistics background or educational research. Two to five years higher education institutional research experience. Experience with Illinois Community College reporting requirements. Knowledge of SCT software, and/or Datatel and web-based data applications. Previous grant reporting experience.
