Job Duties: The University of May Washington seeks applicants for the position of Assistant Provost for Assessment. This position reports directly to the Provost and will lead efforts to coordinate and enhance assessment initiatives; assist with research design; facilitate data collection and analysis; and promote evidence-based decision-making across the university for program review, strategic planning, and policy development.

Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in an appropriate discipline is required. Applicants must have demonstrated ability in program assessment in higher education, a thorough understanding of assessment theory and practice, advanced knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, and excellent writing, oral communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Higher education teaching experience, and experience leading a university assessment office, is preferred.
